Hazelnut Orchards
The industrial hazelnut cultivation project was launched in 2018. Today, the total plantation area exceeds 500 hectares. Hazelnut is a cultivated form of hazel, native to Ukrainian forests. Our approach has transformed tradition into a technological and efficient business.
The orchard was established according to Italian standards. The plantations are based on premium varieties: Tonda Gentile and Tonda di Giffoni. They are distinguished by high kernel quality and exceptional taste characteristics. We provide professional orchard care. Even during challenging climatic seasons, we manage to achieve a worthy harvest. Its quality is comparable to the best examples of Chilean hazelnuts. The entire harvest is contracted for export.
Hazelnuts require minimal manual labor compared to stone fruit orchards. For 100 hectares, a team of 5–7 specialists is sufficient. Minimal pesticide use helps preserve soil purity. The nuts do not require the construction of large cold storage facilities with active cooling. A drip irrigation system ensures efficient use of water resources. Weather stations allow continuous climate monitoring and timely agronomic decisions. We avoid unnecessary energy consumption, which is an important indicator of the environmental sustainability of our production.
As a crop with a history spanning thousands of years, hazelnuts have always been valued for their taste. The nut has a unique natural flavor and high nutritional value. For this reason, hazelnuts are rightfully considered “gold” for human health. They fit perfectly into the concept of healthy nutrition. This product cannot and should not be consumed in large quantities. It fosters a special attitude toward food as a true value.
Perennial plantations contribute to preserving the regional ecosystem. A single hazelnut orchard can bear fruit for up to 50 years, while global demand for nuts continues to grow. Our hazelnuts travel from orchards in the Kyiv region to store shelves all over the world.
